removing badges on 06 Si
My stepdad has an 06 Si coupe, he'd like to remove all the badges and the stickers on the sides. The Si one on the grille looks easy enough, just unbolt it from behind. The stickers should be easy too, I've done that before on other cars with a heat gun. How are all the rear badges attached? I know on some cars they are stuck on, and some they use fasteners through the body. Can someone tell me which they are on this car?
Civic and Si are stuck on with adhesive. I used some fishing line to remove mine, and goo gone to remove the residue.
The Rear H is not. When removed, there will be 2 holes in the trunk. I haven't checked mine, but I'm pretty sure there are nuts holding them on.

Damn you guys are fast... and a lot more helpful than the EF forum! That's fine then I think he doesn't mind the "H", but wants the other badges off. What do you use on the glue, just rub it off? I've used zippo fluid and the like before, but his car is new and he doesn't want any imperfections with it. Do you just heat the badge up and then pull the floss/fishing line behind it?
The front emblem is attached from the rear with screws (2), the rear is in fact stuck on (use floss or fishing line) with double tape, and yes there are two holes in the trunk, these are gromets, and the emblem is just "pushed" into them. If this emblem is removed you will have to fill the holes and paint.
I used rubbing alochol for the rear badges. "H" on back is held with (2) nylon push pins. if removed it will leave holes. front ...........

Thanks for the helpful reply douchebag. It's been covered, see the posts directly above yours. If you don't want to help (ie tell me to search), don't bother posting just to up your noob post count. BTW what did you search to find it?
Thanks for real to the guys who helped, I'm taking them off tonight.

Mine is so new, I didn't even use any adhesive remover, just heated the emblem w/ a hairdryer, slowly pulled Civic off, thencontinued to heat the 3M adhesive and pulled right off.....

You sir are the douche-bag in this case.
You are no noob to Honda-Tech so you should know by now you are suppose to use the search button and check the F.A.Q. before you ask a general question like that.
Search button is in red for a reason.

Simply search "badge".
Oh by the way I wouldn't trust using alcohol to remove the goo. Use 3M adhesive remover. You probably going to need to wax that spot again. The Goo Gone sticker remover would be better than the regular Goo Gone formula, as that too might mess up your clear coat.
