Default PasswordJDM (J's Racing) Intake Question

Hey guys i need a quick answer here as i am about to purchase a Password whale ***** intake. I tried searching already but it did not answer my question. Basically i heard these intakes sound really nice, and work well in colder conditions, also have great throtle response....HOWEVER i heard when its hot or humid out they make your car sluggish...in other words slower than stock...is this true? anyone have first hand experience with them? Is it only the password knockoff or the J's racing is the same?

I dont wanna spend $200 if i will actually LOSE performance all summer long (until it cools down)...

thanks

I have a J's whale ***** intake on my itr as well. On my itr, it runs j's header without wrapped and koyo double code radiator, it is suffering heat soak crazy in the summer!!! I am going to get my header wrapped and build a custom intake box to separate the heat from the intake .
well, if you run stock header with heat shield, i don't think your car would suffer heat soak bad.

vtec sound with J's whale ***** is still cool and it still pulls good before it sucks all the heats from header/radiator lol haha

btw, the velocity stack doesn't work with j's intake tho because j's intake piping is not fix diameter as i heard ...
