Real Civic Type-R Strut bar
I have heard that these are some of the best strut bars for hondas, and why not, they were designed by honda.
Anyway, I was wondering if the front one would fit my 97 civic EX coupe, and what does it look like, b/c if it has type-r all over, I would want to take that off.
Also, where could I get one and how much are they??
Thanks!!!!

Here is one I sold on ebay for 115 bux.
Jdmhondaparts wants 208 for it I think.
THIS IS A REAL CTR STRUT BAR. Same build as an SI/GSR one, but you can see in the pictures the bar(walls) is almost twice as thick. Its a nice piece, but its heavy compared to say...the spoon bar I replaced it with.

Are they good though?? Better than a DC sports bar, or neuspeed??
Also, If I jsut got a GSR bar, would that be cheaper?? And would it fit??

True, the CTR bar looks to be made using thicker walled tubing. Interesting, you learn something every day
But as the cost of the bar approaches anything of quality like Neuspeed, Skunk2 or Spoon, you may want to consider one from those three manufacturers.
Personally I like the Neuspeed front bar's 4 pt design the best, that is what I have on my EG.
Had the Spoon bar on my teg, nice quality, very strong but very light... but pricey.
Bought a Skunk2 for a friend for his b-day, nice piece, almost a clone of the Spoon bar but less expensive.
Also the Rear Skuk2 bar is the best per $$$$ IMO.

I have a real integra Type-R strut bar on my civic that my cousin took off of his type-r and sold me for $130. It doesn't do ****. Waste of money. That CTR strut bar looks like a stock GSR or Si strut bar painted red, and won't do anything for your car but add weight. I did notice a "little" bit of improvement during an SCCA solo I event, but that's it.

im guessin that u would need to drill holes and put in bolts in order for it to fit. if i were you i'd just get a gsr strut bar or some cheap ones who cares it's pivot mount i have pivot mount bar and it still made my car feel solid than before
