96 or 97 ITR. how have they been holding up?
just out of curiousity.. how does a 10 year old ITR hold up to its age?
does it still run smoothly? any major issues? can they last another few more years?

I would say it depends on how it was used/driven. There are some Rs that have been beaten up on a track one weekend after another. Some that have been garaged and rarely see the light of day. And some that were daily driven. It also depends on how well they were taken care of (i.e. services, tuning, etc.) As for my 98, it's 9 years old and people still tell me it looks and feels new.
I have never doubted the reliability of my R and I think it'll definitely last another 10 (I hope)

I've replaced A LOT on my 97. The entire suspension, every bushing, bearing, new hubs, brakes, lines, studs etc. New OEM transmission, and a lot of other maintenance. Not sure how much the car was tracked before I purchased it, from what I could gather not as much as I've tracked it
.
The motor is burning a good ammount of oil however. It did put down 165whp on a Dynojet bone stock though.

Definately depends on how well it was taken care of.....
I just purchased a stock 97 and mechanically it is is excellent shape....130k miles
outside it is a "Monet" looks good from a distance, but pretty messed up when you are up close.....
but it has never been wrecked or modified, so i can deal w/ the hail damage/scrapes and door dings.....
