Removing scratches out of textured plastic?
I bought an 06 Si, and it has some minor surface scratches on the textured plastic on the dashboard.
Is it possible to remove the scratches without ruining the rest of the plastic surrounding the area?
I searched all over google for a product that removes scratches from textured plastic but all I found was someone using a heat gun then applying a black crayon to cover the scratch.
Any help is appreciated.

I need to do this too actually, but I don't think it's possible.
I mean, to take out the scratches you are going to have to use some kind of compound that will smooth out the scratches. Sadly, I think this will also have the side effect of removing the texture from the plastics.
You can always test it on a piece that's out of plain sight...

I am headed over to a couple of professional detail places and body shops right now, I'll post an update later today.
I know that the traditional way of compounding it can't be done, but there has to be a mask it.
