Default F series throttle body on H22 question

I'm getting ready to do my H22 swap and I planned on using the stock F22B2 throttle body so I can easily retain my cruise control. I planned on getting it bored out by maxbore so it doesnt end up choking the motor but I'm not sure what size to go with. I can go all the way up 64mm but I'm pretty sure that would be overkill for my plans for the car. I just plan on doing the usual I/H/E and maybe some Type S cams/valvetrain later down the line. But I doubt the motor will ever put out much more than 200 to the wheels. So taking that into consideration, what size do you guys reccomend I get my TB bored out to?

I guess you could just have him bore it out to stock H22 specs so it would match the IM. Or you can have both the throttle body bored and the IM matched, in which case I would just go up to the 64mm. I mean you are already having it done, might as well go all the way.

If your going to do it go 64 but:

Your stock F22B2 throttle body is 60mm and would not be a choke point in your intake system. Both F22B and H22 throttle bodies are 60mm. Your stock F22B2 or an H22 TB will work for 200whp.

What size is the one on the F22B1? I always thought it was smaller than the H22A1. If they're the same, why not go with the F22B1 in all cases when doing a swap so the cruise and throttle cables will work? The bracket fab for that is a no-brainer.

I have never personally measured both of them or put them side by side so I wouldnt know. But I have always heard the F series was smaller than the H series so it would be better to use the H series TB.

But like jlhansen says, why does every guide on the swap I have seen reccomend using the H22 throttle body over the F series if its the same size as the F series one? I dont see what the point to using a H22 TB is if the F22B TB is the same size plus retains cruise.

My bad....I was going off the TB size chart posted on H-S. There list is the only reference I found and it must be wrong. I just went out and took a measurement of my F22B2 and it is 60mm @ the opening with a taper to 58mm @ the butterfly. I didn't use a caliper to measure just a ruler so it could be off +/- a mil. I have read in some posts that there is a 60mm F22x TB out there some where but it's not an F22B2. I am assuming that the H22 must be 60mm strait bore or 62mm taper to 60mm.
