My f**king driver side window keeps coming out of its runners
This started happing to my car when I rolled down the windows in the rain about 9 months after it was out of warranty. It really sucks because the only way to fix it **until it breaks again** is to remove the door pannel. Any sugestions on how to fix this. . . .
Have you actually popped the door panel off yet to see what's going on in there? I'd start with the bolts that hold the runners in place. If one is loose or missing and the track is allowed to move, then there's nothing holding the window in place.
check the hardware holding the regulator to the door and the two bolts holding the window to the regulator.

the exact same thing was happening to me.. i had to take off the panel everytime to fix it. what i do now is roll the window slowly while pulling the glass back to keep it from poping out. it looks gheto to people watching you but it helps.
i noticed the last time i opened it up that one of the bolts that hold the gears in place was ripping away at the metal from the door. i took a closer look and noticed the gear was a bit warped also. i think thats wahts causing the window not to roll down evenly.

everything is in place. Nothing is bent, as far as I can see. . . . Maybe I should spray some silicone in there. . . .
