Default need to restore my paint

my red 94 acura paint needs to be restored -- no paint job. (Wax, or polish?)

what have you guys found to work best to restore paint and bring back somewhat of the color? it is fading.

I figured i would just wax... anything better than just waxing?

if it is oxidixed (milano red is notorious for this), you will need to compound it, followed by a polish, glaze then wax.

If you dont have a rotary buffer, youre pretty screwed.

What compound would you recommend for removing oxidation from milano red?
I have some on my roof and hood...

I use Optimum Hyper Compound and foamed wool pad for severe oxidation.
