theft/vandalism @ Holler Honda
being a valued, appreciated, and respectful employee of Holler Honda, i feel compelled to expose this information in the hopes it will solve this mystery of burglary....
so i drive into the lot coming to work this morning & see cops everywhere (ground & helicopter)... hmm, interesting. i park & go inside to clock in, immediately a service porter informs me WHY there's cops on property... vandalism/stolen property.
so i walk out to the lot & see the damage. four 2007 Honda S2000's with their soft-tops cut; no seats; no airbags; 2 of the 4 shift ***** missing... im speechless. even more disturbing... one of the four hit was the same blue one i took to the Sanford Memorial Day Parade on Monday.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
so after the investigation was written up i heard from the service manager that 4 were broken into, 8 seats & side airbags stolen, 2 shift ***** stolen, various pieces of interior trim stolen, & rather large gouges in the interior trim from fighting the small door opening & large seats. apparently these guys have been watching our store for some time to know the routine of cameras, security, the lot in general, etc... no detectible finger prints were found from the investigation.
after SCSO ended their investigation for the day i had to move the S2000's to our overhang in the back of the dealer for A. protection and B. to prevent further damage from rain or bugs, etc... it was interesting driving those cars from the floor instead of the seat & furthermore difficult without the shift **** in 2 of the 4.
about the only GOOD news to come from the day is the unofficial evidence collected. apparently with the security cameras, the images weren't so hot but our security company might be able to help us out. so hopefully good news from that front in a couple of days' time.

the reason i state all of this information is to please assist in any way you can. check out eBay for S2000 parts, check out car forums such as S2SKI, OrlandoForums, Honda-Tech, ClubCivic, etc...... & report ANY thing that doesnt seem right.
thank you in advance. btw, if any information leads to the arrest of these bastards, there is a reward being offered. idk the sum as of yet, but i have heard it will be put forth for the help in the ongoing investigation.

If your dealer treats customers the same way the last 3 honda dealers I have gone to do, your dealer more then deserved this.

Not trying to spread hate, just not at all surprised to see this after some of the stunts Honda has pulled on me. My car was damaged by Honda at the dealer, by the mechanic, and it took going to the dealer GM and 4 weeks to get it fixed. And that's the least of my problems.

sucks that its happens, its one of the draw backs of having a convertible, however this comment has nothign to do with it!

anyways i am a kid in a honda so does that mean im guilty to? anyways in regard to the deserve part, i bought my s2k from a private owner so i wouldnt have to deal with dealer bullshit... anyways i drove to the honda dealer once in our area in my s2k and i was treated like ****. they told me that i was driving to fast in the lot, they followed me the whole time and never lost sight of me just because im 17 driving a nice car. if this is how you guys do business then i can see why this happened. i hope you catch the ******** who did this but i think you should go about it in a different way

Saw your post on s2ki also. I'm not surprised this happened in Orlando. Car theft there is VERY bad. I hope they're caught though and given harsh punishment. People need to work hard for their ****. I hope someone steals all of their most prized belongings.
