88 civic zc swap
Car would crank up and run one day I tried to turn the car over and the fuel pump and everthing came on it just mad a clicking noise. Ive checked the battery, full charge also checked the Starter Solenoid by straight wiring it to the battery It just made a loud fan like noise. Can anyone help me.
Also I tried to remove the starter and there is a phillips head screw @ the bottom of the starter that I cannot get to does anyone know how to get it out there isnt any room to work.

I would normally say tap on the starter rather hardly with a screwdriver or something like that, then try it. If it starts, you need a new starter.
It could also be the clutch switch, the plastic piece on the pedal arm that contacts the switch in particular. But that is usually only an issue with the '89's and up... the '88's did not have this switch, you can start the car without pressing the clutch. You can also check the power cable going to the starter.
