hm for dropin motors you have to choose from the stock EW series or the blacktop/browntop ZC from i think 86-88 Integras.

1987 Integra D16A1 : http://www.muller.net/sonny/crx/d16a1/index.html

You'll need the hubs, knuckles, and other things, if you go ZC. IF you go completely stock EW series than just drop that bitch in, maybe even rebuilt , or if you wanna go all out you could do a B series, need a fat wallet though.

use the search function anywhere you can, most of the time your questions might have already been anwsered.

Bottom line is that if you got the money OR feel the need for speed, go B series or even higher.
If you on a medium budget, you can go Browntop ZC turboed, plus you already get bigger brakes and etc from the donor integra.

Or just drop an original EW, maybe rebuilt, if on a lower budget/less mechanic route

somesites, which you'll get more accurate help with the 1st generation CRX:

make sure the d16a1 you put in is not an 86 because its illegal to run an older motor than your car. Also might want to go with the 88-89 Black top d16a1 because its better then the precedent brown top...GL and ballades are awesome

You can swap a D16A1 and mod that engine and turbo it. For more info check out redpepperracing.com there are a lot of swaps there look in the projects section i'm on that section look for Frankenstein Project.
