Default Might be buying a 94 cbr

I have just been told that a 94 cbr is for sale, and the guy is looking for $1,000. The bike was stunted and i'm sure has more than 10k miles. The only reason i am considering this bike is beause of the price, and i wouldn't care if i dropped it because it would be a beater bike/ learner. Any advice or opinions on the bike?
Anyone buy a stunt bike before and have anything to contribute about what to expect, or worry about?

Stunt bikes are usually pieces of ****, but I'd have to see the bike your talking about. Most are wheelied all the time, hard on the brakes, hard on the motor, and dropped very hard. I'd offer him less than 500 for it if it's not completely beat to death... Also, consider how much for new chain and sprockets, tires, brakes, bearings, fork seals, riding gear, ect....

eerrr you can get a 2000+ stunt bike for a stack.

but if you're hell bent on this deal, get it. when the problems start to roll around, sell it and buy smarter the second time around

good luck
