Turbo GSR low RPM misfire
Hey guys, got this set up running great for about 2 weeks off a solid Chrome basemap. 750cc rc injectors using a motorola 2.5 bar map sensor.
Engine was running smooth and perfect, with no issues at all.
After about a week and a 1/2 of normal daily driving.
I noticed that the engine had developed a low RPM misfire (anything less than 3k rpm) and it would smooth out and go away above 3krpm.
Aside from this I had a vacuum leak too causing the car to idle at roughly 1500k rpm.
SO I checked my plugs, was a bit lean, but not pasty. I had a friend compression test the engine.
Results where the following:
Cylinder 1: 180
Clyinder 2: 180
Cylinder 3: 160
Cylinder 4: 180
And the car had also appeared to be puffing white smoke.
So to my friend and I we assumed I either had a burnt valve, or a bad head gasket.
So I went ahead and pulled off the head, to see nothing wrong or damaged with the pistons domes, head gasket looks fine. And valves look ok too.
I'll get some pics up in a bit.

IM probably not much help here but had the same problem with my turbo ls vtec with gsr head. using another brand of spark plug. went away when i went to a New set of NGK 7's gapped at 28-30
