ok everything is looking good so far. i think..

this is all done in a 89' civic si, with jdm b16a


we can get the car to start, but it can only rev up to about 3,500 rpms and cant go passed it, then it just dies.

we havent got any water or anything near the dizzy, so i dont think that can be it, i also just got this dizzy, so im hoping thats not it.

so if you guys can shoot me some main reason a car will only go up to 3,500 rpms then die.

you throwing any codes?

check the red LED on the ecu and see if it blinks while the engine is running.

 

expletive.. i think my ecu might be broke? the light is just stuck on. Code 0? malfunction?
