Nice, without the shift boot that would have been a 15.2

officially, most tracks require you to have a driver's license... lucky for you, most don't check

the track we go to"dragway 42" doesnt require you to. Its private property and its completely legal drive without a license while on the property.

http://www.rx7club.com/archive....html

free copy of last year's NHRA rulebook...

any NHRA member track (sanctioned by NHRA rules) requires driver to have a state issued driver's license and be above the legal driving age of 16... This keeps their insurance down.

little mom and pop tracks usually aren't NHRA members though.. private property has very little to do with it, more of an insurance thing. CYA

I just looked it up. Dragway 42 is an IHRA track, but IHRA requires you have a state issued valid driver's license as well.

so, technically you were breaking the rules... but you did get away with it

I sound like a narc cause I can pick up a rulebook and read it?!?

oh and video would be cool, but I'd be happy with an actual time slip

and as far as Jr. Dragster's go:

Novice Juniors - NHRA Jr Drag Membership & competition license required
Super Juniors - NHRA Jr Dragster Membership & competition license required

My first post in the thread was just correcting Mike for thinking you were driving without a license on the street...

OP: the time is great, with or without a license

thats really odd, becuase one of our friends actually asked one of the track employees if the guy who tuned his chevelle could run it for him with out a license and they had no problem with it.

and actually when we were paying the entry fee the employee asked who was running the car and i told her that aaron was i just drove it up her for him and she nodded and had him fill out the wavier information.

how pathetic do you have to be to actually take the time to look all this stuff up just to be a e-hardass? good job dude now go waste your time in another fourm and spread your salt.

1. you don't have to be smart to work at a race track
2. I never hated on anyone. told the OP the time was great right before he told me 'if ur a hater that F' you...ur just pissed b/c my sohc ran in si rang...'
3. I'm not pissed about anything especially your sohc. I think it's great what you're running with the car.
4. I remembered those NHRA rules from 10 years ago, just looked them up to be sure so I wouldn't be spreading misinformation to kids on the internet like you.. Tell 'em "Dragway 42" doesn't check for licenses; don't tell people they aren't required.

Relax Guys..
