it depends on the condition of the motor. It will prolly spin a bearing before it blows up. y8 motors have weak oiling system and tend to do it alot. my motor had over 100k (who knows how much, not original motor) when I pulled it, somebody else took it and turboed it. Motor was fine for about a weak until wastegate got stuck and boost spiked to like 16psi couple times i think, then it decided to spin a bearing.
try to find another motor for like $100-200 before you go and boost it. Unless it's not your daily driver.

i've seen first hand that mileage doesn't mean anything....my buddy turboed his 94 coupe w/ 212k miles on it....it was making about 220whp on a shitty tune for about 4 months before he decided to sell it....nothing broke or blew up though

If your motor is in good condition and has been taken care of you should have no problem boosting it.

Honestly if the motor is in good condition then it all depends on how well the tune is and who tuned it you probably could run close to 200whp on it for sometime.
