Default Fit intake: Difference from manual and auto

Hi guys. I'm posting for my friend. He's looking for an intake, but he found there is a M/T version and A/T version. Most intakes are M/T for the Fit. And his Fit Sport is an A/T.

So is there any difference between AT and MT intakes? I know Accords and some other older Hondas don't have any difference.

for cold air intake, there is a difference, but for short ram intake, it'll fit a/t or m/t

main reason being for the cold air intake is that the transmission casing is much bigger on the automatic compared to manual, and there is barely enough space to squeeze piping down there, thats why most cold air intakes are meant for manual transmission
