hey so i got a 6 disk changer out of a salvage yard for a good price so i took it. i called the local dealership to get a code for it and they couldnt find one for it but gave me a generic code that should work. i typed it in and it dose work but i can not put cd's into it. and when its on radio it bearly works. its fuzzy when all the way up and the volume is at a 3 of 10. the previous owner did have a system he took w/ him but left some wires. im wondering if that has something to do w/ my volume and quality?? what do i need to check? and this "generic" code could it be because he said it was probably stolen gave me a code to lock it up bassically???

You have to have an amp for the bose 6 disc changer to work. You cant just plug into your harness, assuming you have a base rsx

 

AHHA true cause its also hooked up to the awesome BOSE sub in your spare tire place! . for type s's anyways

 

so whats the generic code if you dont mind me asking i need a code for my radio also just to lazy to call dealership
