Default alarms with rolling code algorithms, who has em ?

i've been shopping for alarms, and i wanted to make sure it had a rolling code algorithm, tilt, radar, and cheapest with these features, what do you guys run..

Almost all of them do. Not much harder to crack then alarms that dont have them. If someone is smart enough to know how to retransmit a coded signal then I would say your alarm is effectively useless against these people.

i thought it was a new signal each time its activated, so they can't grab the code, reverse it and use it later that night to pwn me hard, the more i learn about alarms thow, the more i'm thinking about running two...

Running two alarms is just stupid...

As stated above, most good alarms have rolling codes, and the rest of the questions you asked about sensors can be answered by reading the sticky at the top of this forum...

Yes you are correct a new code is transmitted everytime. All I am trying to get across to you here is that it does not offer 100% protection. I could easily design a device to retransmit a code with the correct algorithm. I believed I heard a device that was capable of doing this less then a year after Clifford was advertising the new technology years ago.

People smart enough to do this would rarely be breaking into cars. Your average criminal will not be able do this.

I agree that two alarms are just dumb.

Yes you are correct. I have even seen the device in action...very scary. Lets just say My system was disarmed in 10 seconds...the other techs were 4 and 5 respectively. No security system was safe at the time...now you know why it was so heavily pushed you have this device outlawed.

But as stated...the average criminal will use a more low tech approach.
