It means it's a hybrid swap. A type of motor put into a chassis it was not designed for.

92-00 Civics were designed to have D and B series motors. When you put K's, J's, and H's in them, it's considered a hybrid.

On the other end of the spectrum, the people that put B18C5's into Fit's are also doing hybrid swaps.

Not really. A 97 CX never came with a B18B1, but that's not a hybrid swap.

the integra RS/GS/LS came with the b18b1, therefore it would be a hybrid swap in a cx
