Default Need help with cluster wiring years 94-01 differences... Big Pictures included

First off, if this is in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance. It seemed the most relevant one to put it in.

Ok, heres the deal. I'm working on a '97 GSR. The dash harness had the instrument cluster plugs cut off. I got a 2000 GSR Cluster ('97 one was missing, too) and cluster pigtails. Attached are pictures of the 2000 plugs, as well as a screenshot of the wiring diagram positions/colors/functions from a 1994 Factory service manual, and a 2000 factory service manual. I could not get my hands on a 1997 factory service manual, so I do not know the wiring colors/positions/functions. I REALLY NEED THAT..

Secondly, as you see in the pictures, the 2000 cluster plugs DO NOT MATCH the 2000 actual plugs, wire position, or nothing.. One plug (16 pin) is very very close to the manual, but not 100%. The 13 pin plug is WAY OFF from actual. Just and a ton more confusion to the task at hand, obviously..

My need for assistance, is with a schematic for a 1997 GSR instrument cluster, and why the FSM differs from the actual plugs...

and yes, the cluster and plugs are DEFINITELY from a 2000 GSR. I am 200% sure of that. And the dash and harness I am splicing into is definitely a 1997 GSR. Again, 200% sure! Thanks in advance.

It's so easy, even a caveman can do it.

Had to say it, because of your avatar.

Looks like 2000 GSR cluster wires for the 13-pin is correct, as there was a revision. Check out this link:
