$300 beater
just picked this thing up for $300. i am not complaining at all, it needs some work, but hey.... i have been getting 35+mpg on 87 octane and it now has a/c.

the previous owner got wasted and ran it off a highway in the rain. when i got the car, there was a good 2" of dried mud covering the entire floor, as well as every interior panel. you could not see out of ANY of the windows either. i paid the owner $300 for the car, and $500 to get it out of the impound. i then ripped out all of the interior, cleaned it up a little (got lazy and wanted to drive it) so i put most of it back togeather.

i am going to rent a steam cleaner and do the seats, and pick up a new carpet for it.
plans are:
in dash DVD player
10" sub
new component speakers
new clutch
EK seats
tint
cheap re-paint and then take good care of the paint
fix the brake system (i have a thread regarding the problem here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1997587)
and some sort of wheels.
i like my new daily tho

i have 2 air fresheners on the mirror, and you will notice 2 cork circle things in the vent. those are some vanella freshener. i also spray it with fabreeze once a day.
it still kinda smells
i am looking to replace it with a stock axel back again, and get rid of the fart pipe.
i am not sure about fixing any of the body work as of yet, as my other car needs the body work more, as it is actually somewhat quick and it worse shape

it has 1 window roll up thingy. it is in the floor on the passenger side, because the drivers window is doing the EG window thingy. i got lazy on taking pics of the other side because i didnt want to move my car. i was actually taking pics of my new intake i made for the white coupe in the backround, and decided to snap a few of the beater.
here, you can kinda see the fender and whatnot on that side. it is not much worse then the other side. a few more scratches, and the rear molding is falling out. the bad part is actually the bottom part of the hatch.... it does not line up. and there are no shocks for the glass.

i will be doing a photoshoot for it once i get it claybared and waxed, along with a new carpet and whatnot.
and that is my little brother in the backround. he was helping me put a new tune in the white car, because of the new intake. i also took it off of pump gas this week
here is the old intake, which put the filter right next to the header

and the new CAI

on the old intake it would sit at 95º on a 50º day driving in the city. it was sitting at 85º on an 80 degree day at 35mph, and on the highway at 80 it was happy at about 74º. the motor loves it, the tires HATE it
