I was looking through the honda parts list, but they don't have the distributor bolts listed under the distributor section of the diagrams. Can anyone tell me what size distributor bolt is used to connect the distributor to the engine?

 

its got a 12 mm head on it I can tell ya that

 

Thanks, that doesn't help much though. I need to know if it's like a M10x40 or something. My Sol was missing a bolt.

 

Does it say in a service manual or anything. I don't have a helms yet and I cant download anything at work.

 

For future reference the bolt size is a M8x1.25 - 30mm. Autozone sells them in a 10.9 grade.

This is true. Are these bolts at autozone over the counter? I can never find these things in 1.25 pitch without ordering them. Lowes/HomeDepot only has them in grade 8.8 which bugs me lol.


Honda always uses the high grade bolts
