Anybody made a good splash shield for their CAI?
I've noticed that the lowermost intake tube and top of my CAI filter has some dirty splash marks on it, as if some road water is getting past the big inner fender well. I'd like to make one of those collars that is often included on K&N intake kits, where it slips around the intake tube and covers the road-facing side of the filter. Has anybody made one of these themselves before, or have any ideas how?
Didn't you guys read it. He wants to make a shield to keep his filter clean of dirty water. I think he has problems of water coming through the splash shield.
You could always make a metal box that covers the problem area.

Yes, I read it, he wants something to keep his filter from getting splashed.
