the cam adjustments may stick, but didn't somone figure out that fuel adjustments made will be "learned" away by the mass air system. Piggybacks may look cool mounted in the interior compartment, but they really aren't that great at tuning...

any reason you're installing camcons on an R18 and a K20?

camcon differs in a way that signals are cheated after they leave the ecu. For eg.

ECU--->CAMCON--->final destination. I have done a trial on a Civic Si using Unichip and Camcon. What I did was,

Unichip-->Ignition Timing control and AFR
CAMCON-->Cam lifts and iVTEC Lift control

Heres the dyno result

We did a stage 1 skunk 2 cams as well.

Still looking for an R18 to try out.

what's the deal with the dyno chart cutting off before 7k?

I didn't think peak power came until 7800 (correct me if I'm wrong)

were you just tuning the low cam profile? where is the vtec crossover set (couldn't pick it out in the curve)

where is the rest of the graph? I guess is my big question. it's missing 1200rpm or more

Just out of curiosity, how long has it been since you did the trial on the Si? Overtime, based on what happened with the Apexi Neo, I would've thought the ECU would fight the programming of the CamCon, which is why I'm asking. Everything was fine at first with the Neo, but overtime, the stock ECU became more aggressive in trying to return it to a based tune. Are you saying this does not happen with the CamCon?

I should have that diagram for you in the next day or two. I checked with my contact and he's definitely able to get them both.
