Default Motor pulled, a few questions. *pics* 56k beware

car is a 90' crx dx.. motor is a B18a1
curious as to how much bashing I should do for the alternator clearance.. and if I need to notch the crossmember in front of the rear motor mount for clearance as well. Also is it easier to put the mount bracket on the motor while it's out.. or put the bracket on the mount. thanks guys

i think you bashed in the wrong place. but don't quote me on that i think you are suppose to bash in more toward that small opening and right above where the rear crossmember is. just give it a few good hits with a 2 pound hammer.

You need to bash under the shock tower. directly under that little square cut out.

you have brake caliper in your oil drain bucket....

make sure you hit that in enough if you're not sure you have yet, when I did my b16a swap it didn't get hit hard enough and we had to use an impact hammer to get it out of the way a few days later.
