HELP: need front right brake rotor asap. 05 600rr
so quick update.
i tipped the bike on its side(has a crash cage) then removed the front wheel(and one caliper). once the wheel was off i took the rotor assembly off and measured/inspected as much as possible. then i put the rotor back on the wheel and spun the wheel while lying on the ground. i found all the "highspots" and the "lowspots" in the rotor itself and lightly tapped them back into place with a deadblow hammer. it took quite some time, small steps. but eventually i got it all streight. a test ride confirmed no pulsing, and when i lean over the tank and look at the rotor(my bike is street-fighter) it is perfect. i got lucky. Great braking again(whew) and best of all i spent no money haha.
thanks for the help anyways(im sure someone would have posted
