Depends on the car. Some red cars look good with a cf hood, some look like ****. Same with other colors.

I have a stock teg. Hit a dear and left a couple small dents in the hood. Trying to decide on getting it fixed or just putting on a carbon fiber.

it can be played out when people only do it for cosmetics. i doubt there is anybody on here that has a cf hood that bought it to save those 4 lbs..

In a way it looks kinda sporty though with a carbon fiber. Also, between fixing the dents and having trying to blend Milano Red paint it could wind up being a mess with half the car being repainted. I could just slap a CF hood and be done with it. Or I could have it fixed. Keep the opinions coming Also, I really have no future plans for this car. Maybe an exhaust down the road.

4lbs? Damn i wish i had your stock hood. Mine feels like your carrying a dozen cinderblocks. Maybe 15-20lbs or even more sounds correct??

Either way it does depend on the color and car

If I were to do it all over again...I would have skipped the CF hood and stayed stock.

Yeah...my cf hood only weighs 14 lbs. Stock is like 35 or something.

on a red car, a cf hood stands up too much imo.

a camshaft is 300-500, a hood is 500... i can tell a lot about a person that rocks a cf hood with a 15 second b16 or b18
