It's a sad week for an ES2 owner. About a week ago someone hit the right side of my car and drove off. The police couldn't do anything about it either. It looks like I'll need new door shell/mirror assembly. The car is very lightly modded. I've been wondering what I should do next. Here's a list of my options as of now.
-Fix the car, sell it in order to buy a RSX
-or sell car as is /=
-K-swap, then fix the side
In your guys' opinion, how much do you think the car would sell for?
-with the damage
-or with it fixed
'02 EBP Sedan
79,xxx mi
CF Kamanari Hood
Greddy EVO2 Catback
18" Enkei EVO V's
Toyo Proxes T1-R
New Front Rotors

I appreciate all of your help guys.

Well, I really couldn't think of any other information to add. I mean, the engine is completely stock. The title is clean. The only modifications to the car are what I listed( other than the front/tail lights, I do have the OEM lights as well ).
I'm just wondering what I should do, and I thought you guys would have some ideas.
:]
-and no, it isn't a celica hood. It's a CF hood from Kamanari. Yes, I know it's ugly. ;_; I was stupid-

I'm still in the process of "de-rice-ifying" the car. So, the hood and the taillights are still on for the time being. I just haven't had much time lately. I actually kinda like the cheesy aftermarket headlights. /= Maybe I'm just a bit weird-

That might well be the case...
I'd hang on to it, put it back to stock and drop a K in there personally.

I'm leaning towards that thought- I'm just going to have to find someone reputable enough to do the swap. I'm just not knowledgeable enough to do the swap on my own. Plus, I don't have enough room to do it at my house.
1) part out the car then sell the car after repairing it. after, get the rsx you wanted. it's so much less of a hassle. plus doing the swap will cost A LOT because shop time ain't cheap.
2) just get the repairs done and keep the car...
3) go to ebay. many stupid people there buy cars entirely by the way the car looks.

That was what I thought. It's going to cost me anywhere from 6-10k to get the swap done. I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.
The only thing is that I'm not sure what would be a reasonable asking price. ( That is, after the car is fixed )
Any ideas?

Fair enough matey, do what you think is best.
But i see you're going for both? Doing a swap and then putting it back to stock and selling it. Great plan.

This is so true if you are going to sell it, with a swap it will be a waste of your money and time and it will be a bitch to find some one that wants to buy it for what it is worth.

Repair it, return it to stock trim, and sell it. Sell all parts that you put on it, because that'd be the only way they'd get return on their value. Cheap, poorly made products like those don't sell well.
