Default kumho spt question

I was considering kumho spt's or bfgoodrich sport's, but see the quest has already been answered, BUT how well do kumho spt's work at the track? i cruise my del sol alot, but I like to take it to the track often too for your everyday bracket racing.

any feedback would be great.

The SPT is much better than the g-Force Sport, and grips better in all conditions.

As for your question, are you talking about the racetrack, or the dragstrip? Because it sounds like you're asking about the strip, not the track. If you are using these for the dragstrip, you might be better off considering a separate set of wheels with drag radials for that purpose.

To toss out another option, you might also consider the Goodyear F1 GS-D3. It's a street tire (so it won't grip as well at the strip as a drag radial) but it's significantly better than the SPT. It's a bit more expensive than the SPT though. It comes in 195/50-15 which is the proper 15" size for your del sol.
