hey, my girlfriend has a 95 civic ex. her clutch has been acting up lately and i think it needs to be replaced. when the pedal is released you can hear a slight grinding sound in the transmission ( i think its the throwout bearing) and sometimes the clutch becomes very stiff. once in a while it wont go into gear and or grinds. it also makes a strange squeaking sound sometimes when its being pushed in. im almost positive the clutch is going but just to make sure does anyone know for sure what the problem is?

replace the clutch ASAP, or trany prolbems may occur

 

try replacing the clutch cable....then if that doesnt work, new clutch :D
