Default My Yellow Honda - Warning - bandwidth intensive - lots of yellow

If you don't like yellow, have a really slow internet connection or just not interested in seeing pictures of a completely stock AUS DC2R then press the back button now

Aussie h-t surfers will find nothing new here. And if the pictures don't load the first time.. just give me a minute to try and rectify any problems.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice shot of the seats, because it shows the actual colour/shade of the seats,
other pictures tend to have it brighter or darker than what it really is.
It's more dirty than it looks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last shot of the car before i take her outside.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You've seen it before and here it is again!! Nothing special there so lets move
along...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can't beleive i bought a yellow car.. can't beleive how much i love it!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Open sezame!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Close sezame.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lots of yellow....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Censored shot of me
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The AUS floor mats, photo turned out very blurry, best i could do.. it's a thick
shiny metallic emblem on the bottom right hand end, the writing on the very
bottom is in Japanese. You can see where i've rubbed the mats on
the upper area... i need to get something on top of that to prevent it from
getting worse.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This shot came out horribly, (i'm getting a digital camera) the odometer says
2200KM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shot of the rear seats, i think we get different rear seats to the US.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blurry
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is where the R is kept, as you can see, i can always monitor her in the
comfort of our own home
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my room....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And this is astro.. half asleep
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now onto the nitty gritty..

On the way home from taking these photos i dropped the clutch abit hard,
tyres spun for awhile in 1st and could smell smoke.. not flame smoke but like
burning plastic smoke? I hope they were my tyres... but...

I could'nt get myself into gear, even with the car stopped i could'nt put her into
first, just would'nt go all the way in, stayed in neutral. I had to take the clutch
pedal all the way out, and put it back in again and it went in fine.. since then,
besides the aweful smell, the cars been running fine... whats the go there?

Secondly, i'm considering doing some mods. Only minor mods though, i'd like the car to be more fun (ie louder) but i don't need it to be any faster..

I hate the sound of a fart, and i'd like vtec to be louder, performance gains would be a "bonus". Warranty and insurance is an issue and i'll need a mechanic.

I've asked around already, lots of people saying to go for K&N air filter.. any other recommendations??

I won't change the suspension, i don't want to ruin the balance of the car, and i have enough trouble scraping the front lip as it is.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these pictures of,
My Yellow Honda

Maybe you can spread some of your stuff from your computer room out into the living room.

Nice car, too!

All you need now is a JDM front end . But isn't cheaper to ship the whole car rather than doing the conversion.

If you enjoy the sound of VTEC, then a cold air intake would be a pretty wise investment. Simple install, and it makes the engagement quite a bit louder.

Where can I buy a steering wheel like that? And how much does a steering wheel like that go for?

That's some mad photochopping skillz. For a moment I thought you worked at Walmart

-I guess you'd have to see the commercials to get that walmart joke. They have a smiley face guy as a mascot.

Nice pics. Do you UK ones come with 4.7 fd and 4-1 header as well? Yellow stitching is very nice, I wish the ones in the US came like that as well.
