Aircraft paint stripper and removing paint from lights
I have a few questions:
How well does aircraft paint stripper work on the car body?
How can I remove paint from the signal lights? They've been completely painted over with primer and it's stuck very well.
Thanks

why are you wanting to strip? is it pretty rough? the only reason I would strip the paint if the car has been painted many times and has cracks, bubbles, peeling,e.t.c, if it was fairly decent respray, I would just sand down the problem areas ,prime, seal and paint,
you just don't know what you're getting yourself into if you want to strip the whole car, keep in mind that you will need to treat bare metal with proper chemicals, apply special etching primer, epoxy primer, and will end up with few hundred $$ just in primers
the best way to remove paint, primer off the plastic lense is to just sand the paint off with 320 grit and follow with automotive grade clearcoat or keep sanding the lense with finer grit paper,320,400,600,800,1000,1200,1500,2000 and polish ,they will look like new, but sometimes it's faster to just sand and shoot clear,I've smoked bunch of tailights ,headlights and sometimes a customer wants it back to stock, so that's what I end up doing
