alright i have a b16a2 in my eg and i just ompleted the swap. the deal is a got it going drive it a couple times and was throwing a o2 sensor cel so i wired that in correctly and drove it for about 5 miles and then took it home so i could clean everything up. well no i wont start! its got fuel bu no spark. i have changed the coil, the igniter, cap, rotor, spark plug wires, plugs, i am outta ideas. i have even checked my wiring even though i didnt touch anything except for vtec and o2...

are you getting power to the dizzy?

 

which wire do i need to check ?

 

i believe its the black wire with yellow stripes ....your dizzy may have just taken a **** bro

 

check your grounds, plus you put a obd2 motor in a obd1 car, definitely check the dizzy it will throw it off big time thats what happened to me with my h swap in my eg

thats were i would go if you getting power to it one of the three sensors maybe went bad or something else internally..honda dizzys=****

 

also when it would kinda of start the tach would jump all over...?

 

definetly check your grounds. i had the problem of the tach jumping in my ek, it ended up being the engine and tranny were not grounded. check both of those grounds. also, your dizzy may be shot as well if those grounds were not there, it could have burnt out.

 

well i have put the dizzy on another car and it worked and i have also tried another ecu and no luck! i have know clue why its doing this its getting power to the dizzy for some reason its not sparking!

I've got power going to the dizzy, new igniter, extra ignition coil (original is gone), new - spark plugs, wires, rotor cap and no spark? I just blew another fuse so don't know what's up?

haha this is stupid i have never had such a problem and im not blowing fuses!

alright i picked up a new harness and guess what i got spark! took the twenty minutes and put the new one it! and it runs. im so lost how my car ran and then didnt... oh well
