Removing rust on engine parts

I have had a short block, a head, and a set of cams acquire a little rust over the last few years. What is the best way to remove this??

Isnt the block and head aluminum, i understand the cam having a little rust but if it is aluminum it shouldnt rust it might corrode, what motor are you running,
