m2b4 tranny.... well i went to honda yesterday and got honda mtf for my tranny. Well when i was in the process of putting it in my girlfriend decided to let her dog out and knock over 2 quarts of fluid. lol seeing how my tuning appointment is tuesday and monday is labor day i cant get fluid till tuesday morning. So i was wondering bc my gf dad sells amsoil if there is an amsoil gear oil equvialent to honda mtf. ALso when adding gear oil do you use a pump or just a hose and funnel?

 

Any 10w-30 oil can be used, as the Helms/Honda manual says to use regular 10w-30 oil. A pump or long tube attached to a funnel will work.

i have a quart and a half in the tranny right now of honda mtf. Should i drain that out and put in 10w-30 or just add the quart of castrol syntec blend 10w-30 to the honda mtf just for my dyno run this tuesday and change it wednesday back to all honda mtf.
