I always thought everyone was trying to get the performance of the headers that you should have on that motor all ready.

98+ is the 2.5 so i am guess this is a 96-7 motor and like he stated ne way he wants to run a 4-2-1 set up. . .anyway i run a 4cyl so i only rock a header.

Ive got the HP Racing 4-1 header on my Sol. As for emissions I'm not really sure because my car is too low to fit on the rollers, so I can't go through emissions.

I've got OBX header, jdm ITR header, the magic b20 header, and an f45c intake manifold.

To complete my headers list.

Does it matter? The only cool exhaust manifold has a turbo on one end.

^^Used to rock the DC 4-1 now I've got an HKS 4-1, both got mashed, so now I need a 4-2-1.

It's going to be hard to match the HKS for top end power

can someone help me out with this. i finally thought i finished my swap yesterday, went to bolt the headers on and there too short &*^&*(*(&*()^*(&^&*^

my brother in law bought the swap and they gave him some dc sports 4-1 headers with it. its a 95 gsr engine and im swapping into a 97 hatchback. I got an apexi n1 exaust, straight pipe no cat. I tried searching on here and some people are posting that gsr headers are 4-4.5 inches shorter than ls headers. this doesnt make sense to me because my whole swap is gsr, theres nothing added from another engine that would make the headers not line up. so im guessing that these are from an ls or maybe a b16 but im not sure. what headers do i need? b18c1 b16 or ls? believe me ive tried searching but oo many people post info without knowing. also do you get more power out of 4-2-1 headers or 4-1? i dont care about wich ones legal really im only interested in power

i believe either teh GSR cat is longer or the entire exhaust system is longer, if your not running a cat, is it also possible that you have a gap the lenght of a cat?
