Default Radiator cap pressure?

I need to buy a new radiator cap for my 91 hatch, the one that is on it is a Stant so it isn't original and is good for 13 psi, is that what the stock cap is good for or is it supposed to be 16 psi? Thanks.

now that your using a 16 psi do you notice any difference as far as the overflow tank and stuff? I'm probably gonna go to a 16 psi but I just want more opinions, my car doesn't over heat and never has so I dont think it would matter if i went to a 16 psi.

just stay at 13 psi...thats what the cooling system was designed for...every one pound of psi makes the boiling point go up 3 degrees, dont go up on psi...hoses can blow.

Im sure a 16 psi cap is ok, I havent had any problems running it in 5 years. Also if you buy an expensive spoon or mugen cap all it is is a 16 psi cap.
