why would they be bad?
seems normal to me
aftermarket projects (not retrofits) don't give out the best outputs but it does have a nice cutoff

because im so confused but im learning more and more, correct me if im wrong but the lense that makes the cut off beam pattern light is the projector right? if it is i was told to just replace my aftermarket projector with a tsx projector ....

i love the way the housing looks on this headlight thats why i want to keep it and i dont think customlightz.com does aftermarket projectors, another thing if i do end up getting the tsx projectors from there all i need is an hid kit right? i dont paticularly have to get the specified ballast or the d2s bulbs from tsx projector set ?

yes the projector and lens make the cut off line crisp. all you need is the projectors, 2 ballasts (some need igniters) and 2 d2s bulbs. i dont paticularly have to get the specified ballast or the d2s bulbs from tsx projector set ? thats correct but you will need d2s bulbs and it would also be good to get a set of OEM ballasts off any car. http://WWW.Hidplanet.Com <--great forum to learn all your retro fitting needs. Tsx projectors are really cool and cheap, you can even color mod them. i had a pair but ive up graded to s2k's.

AP2 = fresnel lense but has a usable shroud...
AP1 = the ones you want with crystal clear lense but it has no usable shroud

well let me tell you this...
s2k's are NOT cheap and you'd probably find some good deals if u have "connections". Otherwise, you'd pay what others do, 300-400 range...
