Default ground control spring rate

i did a search a while ago and found a thread on spring rates for the koni yellow and g.c. combo. can't seem to find it now. well any ways i was wondering how 450f/500r would do in a 3rd gen integra for street driving and comfort? the car is driven nearly once or twice a week so stiffness is okay but not too much.

Compared to stock it'll be pretty stiff to you. maybe get anotehr pair of say, 400 springs, or if its too stiff for you put the 450's in the rear because how stiff or plush it feels will depend on the rear rates; the lower the rear rates the plusher the ride, but the lower the rear rates the more biased it will be towards understeer.

i'm running on civic progress lowering spring on stock gsr struts and it's pretty stiff, can feel every bump, however under street driving i can live with it.

ever see those cars that drive by and you see their trunk jumping with every little bump because it was too stiff? a little for me is fine but a lot is too much, will the 500r be too much?

I good combo for the GC/koni is .....

Rear....400

or a little softer

front... 450
Rear....350

Good luck ....also try drive in some ones car who has that setup ...and judge from there

yes you want a stiffer rear spring to reduce rear squat when you accelerate.

Just installed 400/350 and it's pretty comfy. I think I'll be ordering new springs after my first lapping day.
