Questions about insurance on your R.....
Well, i have been with State Farm as long as i have been driving, and im very pleased with them. Im looking to sell my gsr to buy an R. heres the story.
I am 19 YOA, clean record other than one claim filed when i totaled my Si which wasnt my fault, the other guys insurance wasnt going to total it, but i wanted it totaled so i filed the claim with mine.
As of now, i am still under my parents. I am rated on a 90 S10 so i can keep my rates lower. My stepdad is primary on my gsr and i am 25% driver on it. I pay 167/month as 25% driver on the gsr.
What i want to know is....
Your age
Driving Record
Year of R
And what you pay per month.
I know this is a very broad question, but im just looking for ideas on what everyone else pays and what i should expect to pay.
Thanks in Advance.

25 yo, Allstate, clean record (no tickets/accidents on record currently), married, and have multiple cars (3), homeowner's insurance, and life insurance through them. $312 every 6 months.

), three cars on policy plus life insurance and renter's insurance. State Farm.
Monthly bill = $110
ITR's portion = $85

26, married, (One claim on record and one ticket) WIth Horace Mann (Teachers insurance - my wife is a teacher): $103/month for the R with $250 deductible.
FYI my 98 is $19/month cheaper than my 2000 was.

21....it went from $168 to $220/month because of some insurance rate increase (affected all people--according to the insurance agent)... and with Farmers Insurance...
With 94 GS-R... it was $110/month
Off Topic: I've checked with my insurance company when setting up insurance for the ITR and I compared the rates between the GS-R and the ITR... same year cars... the GS-R has higher rates....

Please just call your agent and ask. It only takes them a couples minutes to get you a quote and it's far more accurate than taking a poll here.

I'm 22, Insured by State Farm, 1 speeding ticket, multi-car discount, high $1000 deductables, and I still pay $135/month on the R alone. I'm no insurance agent but I assume you'll be paying over $200/month atleast...

Id "just call my agent and ask" if it wasnt sunday. Im stopping and talking to them today, but i just wanted an idea of what everyone else pays.
im 19 and still under the policy of my parent...I had a clean record( my type r 098-743 was stolen 2 weeks ago)
With my clean record I was paying 1200$can which is close to 650$us a year+ 500$ deductible. Now that I have to claim 24000$can which is 16000$ us, my insurance will go up like crazy ****!!
