I have a JDM front end in my EF hatch but the only thing i don't like is that i can't see at night with the headlights they don't light up very good or they are pointing up. If i get some HID will the headlight melt because of the plastic I don't know what to do, My other problem is that the headlight bulbs keep on burning out. I am getting tired of this that am just going to sell the front end.

I actually thought the jdm headlights were much brighter than the U.S. ones. They might be messed up inside from shipping over here and the beam pattern screwed up. I have seen that before. Also make sure the bulbs are seated properly, if they are off axis the beam pattern will be messed up. And if you really want the hid's they will not melt the housing they actually run cooler than a halogen bulb. But I dont think this is your problem

 

It could also be that their not designed to point on the opposite side of the road.
