Yeah PH3593A is the fram part number and shame on you for not changing your oil and filter more. Do you know that if your filter becomes clogged the oil filter will let the oil just bypass the filter, and then it’s like you’re not running a filter at all. My grandpa always used to say "son, oil is the cheapest machinery you can buy" yeah it still doesn’t make any since but I get his point. If the oil looks dirty then it is. And I’m off my soap box.

They're all right, the 3593a is the filter for that car. thats the one i used to use on my b16 and its still the same part number for my ls vtec. That oil filter is universal for b series and most single cams i think, remember, just cause the filter thats on there looks a little different doesn't mean the 3593 won't fit. All the oil filters other than oem honda are aftermarket and are made by different companies so a little difference in the appearance is frequent

Ya most aftermarket filters are wider and not as long as the honda ones...

You should of just TRIED to put it on instead of looking at it.

Honda has used the same thread for all there oil filters since...well I put a honda filter on a 1987 accord, so adleast since then, and they still use the same filter today, so...ya.

95% of all hondas over like 88 and on (and probably some earlier) take the same filter, as in the all interchange w/ one another. Accords, Civics, Integras, CRVs, Pilots, V6s & most 4 bangers in this range pretty much use the same filter, the part number changes w/ some manufacturers between years but at Honda there is pretty much one oil filter for like I said, about 95% of all Hondas. (there are specific acuras and other hondas that use different ones but they are less common and pointless to even note in this thread).
I have worked in quite a few shops over the years and worked on Hondas for 11 years now so you can pretty much rely on this info.
