Default PLEASE HELP!!!! would anyone have any idea on where the brake fluid is coming from????

hey everyone, i just recently put rear disc conversion on my 89 hatch DX and i put a prop valve 40/40 and a new autozone master cylinder 13/15 i think it is.. i also redid my full brakes meaning rotors and carbon matelic brake pads all around and new calipers all around car... also SS brake lines.. now my problem is my pedel feels a lil smooshy not much but when i start the car up and then drive around the block and sit it i see a lil puddle of brake fluid under my car.. but its not coming from the front calipers nor the master cylinder... im trying to figure out where is coming from. its drippin somewhere and then runs down the underside near the driver side undercarrage and then it just drips and forms a lil puddle.. would anyone know where its coming from. i havnt seen anything leaking up top or around caliper etc.. could my brake booster be bad? a seal or something inside it? iif so is that hard to replace? or is thier any tricks i can try to find out where its leaking from? please help thanks in advanced H-T members..

Maybe check all of your connections? Sometimes you get to working and if you're playing music/drinking beer, and someone hollers at you through the garage window to make sure you don't forget to start the grill for dinner you overlook a nut here or there on accident.

It sucks but sometimes, even if you do have them tight, it might not have seated just right and then your brakes are under a lot of pressure so that might cause a leak (hopefully that's not the case cuz you might need to re-flare the line. If you have a friend out there with you, get him/her in the car mashing on the brakes while you check all the connections for leaks and then re-tighten each one.

First thing I would try anyway. Good luck

drive it around before you jack it up, so it will be easier to find the leak.

I had a similar problem. If your leak is comming from a connection (line to master cylinder or line to prop valve), it might be that there is a small piece of dirt in there. The two pieces of metal are being pressed together (thats how they seal) and if there is a speck of dirt in there, it will leak when you jam on the brakes.

you might have to take every wheel off and eye each of your lines and connections again........ if its still leaking thats the only way ur going to know where its comming from
