What are those things called, that many people put under a lip, kinda of like a flat lip under a lip
Not sure how to explain, am trying to find a picture, but Ive seen many people, with stock bumpers, Lips, and under the front lip, some carbon fiber looking flat thing, Sorry if I'm unclear...
Just looking for the exact name of this and if you got some time, mind explaining to me why people do this? Any point at all, or is it just for looks?

I think it's called a diffuser/splitter
On honda's it's for looks. I guess there's some kind of "jdm magic" or aerodynamic advantage.
