Default light question (map lights)

so upon my research i cannot seem to find a definite answer... so i pose this to you all in this topic:

what is the size/measurement/whatever for the '07 Civic 4DR Si map light, dome light, trunk light & possibly recommend me a setup from this page ~> http://www.superbrightleds.com...xt=50

20 products down you will see "3022" festoon bulbs in either 2, 4, or 9 LED setups. im curious which or any will fit into my Si? im looking into them cuz i already have HID headlights & foglights, LED super-white license plate illumination, and 15-LED super white reverse lights. i would like to now upgrade the rest of my ambient lighting to LED as well.

any thoughts or definite answers to my inquiry? thanks in advance. the Honda manual was USELESS! it lists NOTHING but wattage of the bulbs.

p.s.- according to sylvania's site the map light & dome light is a "DE3175" bulb & after using the SuperBrightLED.com comparison chart ive found the comparable bulb to buy is "3022" so thats why i am requesting information.

/endranting. lol

I am not sure what the answer to your question is. I was wondering if you could tell me which part numbers the reverse light is?

try eautoworks.com. i bought leds for the dome light from there. getting the right size is easy.

our reverse lights are 7440 (which is the single filament version of the usual 7443 which is the dual type) *example being a turn signal or a brake light in general*

thanks for the help, eaautoworks helped cuz its telling me that DE3175 is a 1.25 inch festoon-type bulb. knowing that information helps cuz it doesnt seem like the all types from SuperBrightLEDS.com would fit. lol but those prices are RAPE! hahaha... 19.95 apiece?? no thanks...

and in case any1 is wondering on the topic of LED conversions... our license plate illumination bulbs are 194/168 type.

okay last question(s)......

once again the manual doesnt tell me squat... how do you pop open the two map lights up front and then the dome light in the passenger seating area?

and secondly, what is the size bulb for the trunk courtesy lighting? same as my interior bulb?

well, that does appear to be a 2-door model. being that i have a 4-door Si it doesnt seem many sites out there have updated their database to include my exact trim level & car.

but seeing how i can't expect them to be TOO much if ANY different it looks like the map light, dome light are the same (3175) and the trunk light (2825) is listed.

hmmmm, who thinks it would be different or who thinks it'd be the same?

okay ive decided this topic is overdone... lol

i ordered:

*3 map light/dome light LEDs (3022 size to replace my DE3175)
*1 trunk/courtesy light LED (WLED-WHP size)

$19.80 + shipping.

that'll do. thanks for every1's help... i got this figured out now. damn LED bulb conversion from stock can be a headache sometimes. now i just gotta figure out how to uninstall & re-install these bad boys once i get them into place. hmmmmmmm........
