If the fan is overwhelmed and not flowing enough air then how do you expect to make power? I'd suspect you would in fact lose power highend. I mean a blower is more for torque so you might see some help downlow but I'm not sure about it's flow capabilities high in the rpms. For the most part a "electric" supercharger is basically one of those dry-vacs attached to the intake arm is it not? You also have to worry about a power source. From what I understand you can only boost those for like 15 seconds or something before it runs outta charge and has to recharge.
