well a turbo build can be very expensive and 400 hp on pump gas would require a farly large turbo... my friend has a 2 door 460 hp at 28 lbs of boost and thats on c17 race fuel mixd with 93 oct and on 93 octaine he only pushes 280 hp on 18 lbs i think maybe 15 not sure and thats with a farley medium size gt30r turbo so basically you would need at least probrably a gt40r to make 400-500hp on pump gas... which would then make 800 on race fuel so its on you but if you want an equally fast motor i have a 270 all motor whp engine i am selling and it would save you a lot of money and i just got it out of the shop just got done being built never ran head isnt even on the block yet but its the same exact build i have in my DC which has 273 whp and i run an 11.23 et which is about what your going to be looking at with a 400hp turbo car my friend with his 460 hp civic only ran a best of 11.27 with slicks and his turbo would sppol up a lot faster than a gt40r so the gt40 wouldn't nessasarily be the best way to go which would be the only way to make 400hp on pump gas newho sorry guys for the non use of punctuation and capitalization any my motor for sale is in my signature go look at it

i think the best advice anyone can give you is to research stuff for yourself. no one can tell you what to do with your own car. just hit up the faq section and read some of those threads, alot of good ****. they have helped me alot. so advice from me read and research first.

oh if you have an evo you should already have some experience with boost

wtf you have a 270 hp all motor setup, you sure. you dont have to run race gas for high horsepower. my homeboy has a 400hp coupe on pump gas. its all in the tuning if you ask me

It's under everyone's avatar, it's the lil Georga washington's head looking thing.

If you can PM, you can report. It's left of the PM button. The far left.

it's not that, it's just these same questions are asked everyday. thats what the faq is for, to help you out. there is no best motor, everyone has their own opinions. so thats why we all say research first. use the search button it wont hurt you

well, look into the forced induction section, read, read, read. It's what i've done, and it's helpful. But, since you probably don't want to be kept on being told to search, here's a few, simple ideas. You could get a B16 or B18C from http://www.hmotorsonline.com (i've heard very good things about them) and then build your motor you have, maybe from here http://www.jgenginedynamics.com , if that's in your budget, and then read up on everyone's turbo setups and their goals. you could go here http://www.turboneticsinc.com and see what of their turbochargers sound right for your goals. Someone a while back made a really nice guide on installing a turbokit on their white hatch. I'll try to find it. If you peice it together, negative part is to make sure have all parts and hoses and what not. hope that helps a little before this gets locked. How much can you spend??btw

It's impossible to answer which motor is best buddy. Different strokes for differen't folks. not to mention anyones available time, budget, and know-how.

It's just not feasible to have an answer for everyone who comes in this forum asking US what to do to THEIR car.
