Default 98 style LMA's better that 92-97 style??!

Are the 98+ style LMA's spring style better than the 92-97 hydraulic style LMA's. Were puttin the 98+ style LMA's in a 97 head cuz it had the hydraulic style LMA's in there and they were all worn out. Would it be better, same, or worse?

Haha oh man I'll stay out of this one. But check the all motor forum. Do a search and you will find various threads that cover this topic on the H22.

A lot of the allmotor guys use the newer spring type ones because they're less likely to fail and start making noise like the hydraulic ones.
