Default b16a b16b pistons

i have a b16a block and all the pistons got cracked so im going to put some new pistons on the b16a rods, i was wondering if b16b pistons will fit on those rods, i heard it could only be a certain year pistons, because my friend had a ls motor and bought some civic type r pistons to put on the ls rods and they wouldnt fit, the machine shop had to machine the piston, then after we got it done some one told us that only the year 2000 pistons out a civic type r would fit the ls rod, but what about the b16a rod, what high compression piston could i just put on that rod and put in the b16a block.

Machining the rod or the piston is the only way that i know of. Im sure you can order so aftermarket high compression pistons that fit on b16 rods

this is if you want to use stock rods.

that is wrong. you need to do modify the rods or pistons no matter what year ctr piston you use
